Richard E. Smalle Award [2015]

This awards recognizes the most influential research article published in 2012 and 2013. Although, covering all areas of nanotechnology, priority is given to interdisciplinary works affecting wider ranges of applications in the realms of nanotechnology.
This award recognizes an outstanding research in the realms of nanotechnology. Judgement is based on published papers in recent years.
Selection is based on a pioneering idea published as research article.

The application must be accompanied by

1. PDF version of papers published during 2012 and 2013. The papers must be focused on a single topic.
2. A full curriculum vitae.
3. A biography of his/her nanotechnology research.

All active Full Members and Fellow Members of the Society are eligible to submit application for this award.

The Award

The award includes a cash prize of $1,500.00 and an engraved plaque.


Candidates must self-nominate themselves.
