A New Face of the Society

Journal of the American Nano Society

The Society journal JANS is officially ready to be published, but we do not want to add an ordinary journal to the growing list of scholarly journal in nanotechnology. We aim to run to a different journal, but still did not get a creative idea.

Call for Awards and Prizes

One of the mission of the Society is to encourage researcher working in the realms of nanotechnology. Thus, we offer a series of awards in different areas. Call for Awards will be publicly announced soon.

Local Section Elections

We deliberately delayed the elections for new local sections, as we wanted to create a strong infrastructure for forming sections. For example, each section has now its own dedicated website for updating news and events.

Extended Profile

To better serve our members, we are extending the profiles to include detailed information about work experiences for better networking of people involving in nanotechnology.

Join the Society

Full Membership is not open to everyone, and applications will be strictly reviews by external referees. However, this is not the only membership category in the American Nano Society. You can join the Society as an Associate Member or Student Member.

Modern Policy of Scientific Society

The American Nano Society is based on a special policy to serve members with maximum capacity. Rather than being a traditional scientific society, we aim to cultivate creative ideas to provide new opportunities for people in the Nanotechnology Community.

Virtual Collaboration Program: Where Theory and Experiment Collide

The Society has launched a very special program for building virtual collaborations between nanotechnology researchers. The program aims to address the lack of sufficient collaboration between theoretical and experimental studies in nanotechnology research. On the other hand, this is a golden opportunities for young researchers and experimentalists to conduct their research based on theoretically driven creative ideas. The program can be beneficial for all nanotechnology research by offering new opportunities to gain other researchers' skills and possibilities.

Journal of the American Nano Society

The Journal of the American Nano Society is being prepared for publication with first issue early 2013. Following the Society special policy on science advancement, we wish to establish an extraordinary journals devoted to cutting-edge research in all field of nanotechnology. We appreciate any suggestion in this direction.

The ANS Books

Following the special policy for supporting nanotechnology research, the Society started to publish nanotechnology books with exceptional services to both authors and readers. The ANS publishing policy is far beyond compare with other publishers. Check this out HERE.
