About the Society

American Nano Society (ANS), is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing nanotechnology and nanoscience around the world by serving as an educator, leader, spokesperson and professional society.

The Society was officially incorporated in the State of Florida. At the first stage, it created a private network of nanotechnology researchers. Now, the Society server a broad range of people who are interested in nanotechnology both nationally and internationally. The Society membership is based on a sponsoring scheme, as a new member should be sponsored by an existing member. Current members only can sponsor their colleagues for joining the Society.
As an interdisciplinary, professional Society, the Society supports networking among academic, industrial, government, and consulting professionals involved in a variety of disciplines - chemistry, physics, biology, almost all medical disciplines, almost all engineering disciplines, etc. through common interests related to the nanoscience and nanotechnology.
