Digital Service Engineer - Electron Microscopy
The position
Due to our growth in Digital Services we are looking for an experienced Digital Service Engineer to be added to our SSD (Sales and services Division), to take care of IT and infrastructure related matters.
In this new position in the SSD (sales and Service division you will work close together with Sales and support organization to ensure a smooth introduction, delivery and support of our digital solutions, and services. In this position you will have a direct interface with the customer and interact with the implementation and support teams. It is your responsibility to provide all the necessary information to manage the full landscape of the deployment of the IT solution including the integration with the customers infrastructure, and enable the remote support capabilities.
Specific deliverables associated with this position include:

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Bachelor or Master degree in ICT Computer Science or a technical / SW disciplineExperience in IT application management;Experience with data storage and (remote) software installations, support and trouble shooting.Thorough comprehension of fundamental networking protocols, including TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, etc.Fundamental understanding and hands-on experience with network technologies including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless networksKnowledge, or experience with: Monitoring tools, Linux, VMWare, Automation and Scripting, Kubernetes and Docker.Proven customer facing skills and team player.Motivated to work in a fast changing and highly technical environment.Open to travel up to 25% of time (mainly regional).
