Bureaucracy is unfortunately at the heart of scientific organizations. For each application, researchers should waste their invaluable time to articulate unnecessary documents. We are committed to absolutely avoid any unnecessary task unless the information is vitally required.
This strategy is well reflected in our Fellow application procedure. Instead of writing detailed applications, we have limited the application to unnecessary materials. This can expedite the review process, as the reviewers are well familiar with common resources such as Google Scholar, ORCID, etc; and they can easily follow the publications to examine their impact.
As a downside, our simple application procedure may seem not to be sufficiently serious as compared with other applications which take weeks to be composed. However, we still wish to make this sacrifice to save the time of our applicants and reviewers.
The same idea has been followed in designing our online review system. Not a single unnecessary page is required to be visited for submitting and reviewing the applications.
In the same line of strategy, we attempt to provide the ultimate resource for finding journals, events, and jobs.
