Who You Are

You’re a curious problem solver who has the ability to bring big ideas to life. You live and breathe social media and geek out over the latest social media trends. You’re creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You’re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You also have: 5+ years’ experience in social media marketing. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications preferred. Demonstrated experience driving social media strategy for a large CPG brand or preferably a portfolio of brands. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations. Experience with social media analytics tools (such as Social Bakers) as well as in-platform analytics. Solid understanding of paid social and how paid & organic social work together to drive performance. Strong experience identifying, managing, and developing micro and nano influencers. Strong experience partnering with creative teams & agencies to develop and optimize content including live events, snackable content, and UGC. Experience developing communities in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Tik Tok. Snapchat, WhatsApp, Facebook groups development experience a plus. Skilled in managing and motivating a team via influence; excellent interpersonal interactions with cross-functional teams. Strong entrepreneurial spirit with eagerness to meet and exceed goals and targets. Self-motivated and highly energetic. Ability to understand the cross functional pieces of the SBD business process and bring value-added thinking to improve the target business process. Agency experience a plus but not required.
JOB DESCRIPTION Drive and own social media transformation aligned with global digital strategy. Work in conjunction with Commercial Teams, eCommerce, global and other GCX functions in the development of innovative world class social media plans and tactics that will support achieving SBD’s Business Objectives for North America. Act as the go-to social media subject matter expert within GCX; keep the organization educated on social media evolution and ensure we are incorporating bleeding-edge tactics and strategies. Constantly evaluate brand performance on social media and provide pro-active recommendations and learnings to inform future strategies. Partner with creative teams to ensure social media creative is leveraging cross-platform best practices and driving maximum engagement. Manage regular reporting and tracking, interpret implications, report metrics appropriately and flag issues regarding social platforms. Synthesize data to "tell the story" rather than just reporting numbers. Manage external/digital and social media vendors and/or agency coordination efforts. Be bold to develop in-house capabilities. Budget reporting and management, including preparing investment reports for internal clients and producing expenditure updates for digital and social media initiatives.
