In this role you will: Manages operations at Gainesville site in conjunction with new product development and scale-up to high volume manufacturing. Responsible for direct interaction product management to fulfill production deliverables. Lead the Operations team to deliver on customer orders and meet safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics. Ability to align with business unit to support strategic and growth initiatives, while following Entegris PACE Values. Responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the operations team which includes scheduling their daily and weekly tasks involving synthesis, purification, and manufacturing of chemical products; Coordinate technical requests from chemists and R&D to provide support of their projects; Manage pilot activities and transition into high volume manufacturing; Participate in meetings with other Entegris sites, product managers, marketing and technical staff to ensure high-quality chemicals are manufactured and shipped on time; Manage site inventory control, safety, maintenance, scheduling, shipping and site Capex; Maintain and improve technician training curriculum, site work instructions and implement Entegris procedures and policies; Coordinate resources to perform root cause analysis on customer returns and advance Statistical Process Control (SPC) for the manufacturing operations; Provide mentorship and coaching to team. Domestic and international travel 20%.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or Industrial engineering and 3 years of experience in engineering in a chemical manufacturing environment or Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry or Industrial Engineering and five years of progressive engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Must have 3 years’ experience with the following: Nano-abrasive slurry formulations and process optimization CMP Technologies polish ultra-hard surfaces for solid state power devices Silicon Carbide Commodity or category management. Utilization of financial and data-driven techniques to make decisions and supplier negotiations
