We are seeking a Senior Scientist I, protein LC-MS expert to join the team. If you are passionate about novel therapies including AAV and want to apply your bioanalytic skills, we would like to hear from you. You will have an opportunity to join a team and bring your creative and scientific expertise to apply high sensitivity LC-MS techniques to a variety of drug discovery programs.
What you’ll be doing:
Apply PRM based LC-MS for quantitation of challenging proteins across multiple tissue types in preclinical models to support variety of projectsDevelop novel high sensitivity assays using nano/microflow LC-MS for both targeted and global proteomicsApply the developed methodologies to large number of samples and generate highly reproducible data with good precision and accuracy.Write experimental protocols, reports, and present results at internal and external meetingsKeep good laboratory, data recording, and data documentation practicesWork in a matrix environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support drug discovery projects

Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
B.S. and 8+ years of experience or M.S. and 5+ years of relevant experience in quantitative LC-MS of peptides and proteins (i.e. DMPK, analytical development, proteomics)Extensive knowledge in sample preparation using various biological materials including cell lines, tissues, as well as, various enrichment strategies such as immunoprecipitationExpertise in qualification and validation of LC-MS assays applied to pre-clinical and clinical samples
Desirable:
Knowledge of automation solutions such as liquid handlers to improve assay throughputFamiliar with regulatory requirements for protein quantitation assays and experience with assay development in GLP environmentReport generation using statistical software relevant to protein quantitation
