The Digital Healthcare Biosensors group in Analog Devices is developing a portfolio of sensor platforms that will enable a new business franchise for ADI. Current projects include developments in Infectious Disease detection with Point of Care Diagnostics, Liquid sensing technology in Therapeutics & Invitro Diagnostics and exploration of the Drug Bioprocessing industry.
The Biosensor nano-team is seeking for a self-motivated, entrepreneur-mindset and fast learning with strong background in Bio-sensor devices. This individual will work closely with our Research Scientists, Design Engineers and Process Developers to help design, fabricate prototypes and characterize innovative Bio-chip sensor devices. These chip-scale sensors will leverage ADI’s ‘more than Moore’ manufacturing capability to combine innovative sensing materials with optimized signal conditioning to build out the technology portfolio into a new and successful business for ADI.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with internal and external Fabs to fabricate novel devices / nanostructures Run lithography processes to fabricate prototype devices Design test plans and carry out characterization of novel structures and/or devices. Work with Research Scientists on design and simulation of new structures/devices. Drive device testing including optical, electrical and structural performance measurements.
Qualifications & Requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
MS degree or PhD degree in Chemistry, Electro-chemistry or Bio-chemistry or Bio-Physics, Material Science or a related discipline. Organic or Inorganic semiconductor fabrication experience Device characterization or material characterization experience Experience with spectroscopy techniques Hands on surface functionalization Hands on experience to operate characterization equipment such as SEM, AFM, XRD, PL, CL , SPR, DLS, MST, XPS & NMR &Raman Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills coupled with a demonstrated ability to work at a high level of performance both independently and in teams. Demonstrated record of execution and results, with high standards for performance A minimum of 3 years working experience in diagnostics, biomedical devices, biotechnology, or a related industry
