About the role:
The Process Control Engineer is responsible to support design, installation, operation and maintenance of company-wide PLCs, instrument interface, SCADA and SQL historian. The process control engineer will be tasked with developing the design requirements for future installations.
What you’ll be doing:
Perform troubleshooting and diagnosing of issues related to control systems and PLCs either onsite or offsite with remote connection. Develop advanced user graphic interface of process in SCADA environment. Create documentation including one-line diagrams, C&E and control narratives. Serve as subject matter expert for engineering and maintenance staff on control systems and low voltage electrical layouts. Develop control system architecture, technical requirements and component design specifications for commercial scale manufacturing facility design.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens). Experience with PLC hardware (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens).
Other qualities we’d love for you to have:
Experience with SCADA software (Inductive Automation or similar). Experience with SQL Databases.
