About the role:



The Product Analyst position is a developmental role designed to optimize Group14’s commercial programs. This individual will act as key support to the Product Manager to identify and report on relevant information from large production data-sets. The individual in the role will perform a variety of creative, programmatic and supervised customer-facing activities, considered to be highly important to the product management process.



In addition to supporting the Product Manager, the Junior Product Analyst will interface directly with departmental managers and periodically with executive leadership. This role is accountable to collect and record relevant data from internal SCADA systems and external commercial production by customers, quantitatively characterize that data and report learnings to Product Management. Product Management will support this role with access to key personnel for data collection.



What you’ll be doing:


Support Product Management with information to maximize revenue-generating activities. This includes, but not limited to: Collecting relevant data directly from internal sources, partners and customers Supporting development of Group14’s production SCADA system Building rapport with partners’ commercial program teams for optimal communication Organizing and analyzing internal and external data in a quantitative manner to anticipate customer needs Reporting quantitative results on a regular basis with excellent communication and graphical representation skills Act as first responder for inquiries from Business Development and Program Management teams Periodically participate in select customer meetings, industry events and trade shows to understand markets and customer needs/wants


What we’re looking for (MUST have):


BS in data science, OMIS, electrochemistry, mathematics, electrical engineering, or related fields, or 5 years of related experience in the lithium-ion battery industry Experience with SCADA systems, and high proficiency with analytical tools such as JMP, MATLAB and structured query language Demonstrated data visualization skills to communicate clear messages from quantitative findings to an executive audience Attention to detail, organization, prioritization and time management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivation with an ability to own projects and drive results with little supervision The ability to forge strong, cross functional, working relationships

Other qualities we’d love for you to have:


Experience with Ignition SCADA software by Inductive Automation Experience at battery materials or lithium-ion battery manufacturing company
