We are seeking a talented and ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer to work on existing and new products that are used in the manufacture of state of the art Micro & Nano technology machines. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Designing and testing improvements, new functions and new variants of semiconductor machinery. Person specification: Good degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Physics OR other suitable hard science with a strong Engineering background - engineering design and development - 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Experience of developing low volume high value, precision Electro-mechanical equipment in an R&D environment Practical experience of either semiconductor or vacuum equipment and instrumentation. Experince of working with Quality systems such as: ISO9001. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your role will involve working in a multi-faceted team and with external suppliers and potentially customers, therefore good communication skills and the ability to plan and manage your time is important.
