Purchasing Officer

At Andor we are implementing an organisational wide MRP system, and the project team comprises of staff from Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Production and Sales Operations. As part of this project team an additional Purchasing Officer role has been created to support our Purchasing team.

The Purchasing Officer will ensure the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services as part of our wider Supply Chain Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing activities, order placement, maintenance of delivery dates, communicating with Production and escalating any issues.

The ideal candidate will:
Be Customer Focused internally with production and teams and externally with suppliers
Have excellent problem-solving skills, with strengths in sourcing and managing suppliers
Have 2 years’ relevant purchasing experience
