Professors Howard Fairbrother (Chemistry) and Joel Pedersen (Environmental Health and Engineering) at Johns Hopkins University invite applications for a postdoctoral researcher position focused on understanding, predicting and controlling the properties of MXenes, a recently discovered new class of two-dimensional inorganic compounds, under conditions relevant to environmental applications. This research will be conducted as part of the NSF Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology (CSN - https://susnano.wisc.edu/), an NSF-funded Center for Chemical Innovation (CCI). The candidate should have a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science, or a related field. The post-doc will work jointly with Professors Howard Fairbrother and Joel Pedersen.
