Fabrication Engineer: Semiconductor Process Development and Integration

We are inviting applications from motivated candidates with experimental background in nanopore fabrication, characterization and DNA sequencing.


Key Responsibilities


Develop semiconductor processes, perform process integration to fabricate and improve semiconductor-based nano-sensors, nanopore devices and microfluidics utilized in INanoBio’s technology platforms Fabricate and characterize FET based nanopore devices for DNA sequencing and other applications Design and develop integration of microfluidic components into semiconductor-based diagnostic devices Design of experiments (DOE) for process development and optimization Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis for semiconductor-based nano-sensor devices and microfluidic components Semiconductor process development and tools operation at different scales in research laboratories and semiconductor cleanroom facilities Work with internal process engineers, vendors, semiconductor foundry partners and external experts to successfully resolve issues Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Requirements


PhD or MS in electrical engineering, material science, physics, or related science or engineering discipline At least 5 years of hand-on experience in semiconductor process development and integration related to Field Effect transistors (FETs) and MEMs. Hands-on experience in semiconductor processes such as lithography patterning, film deposition techniques, dry plasm etch, wet etch and clean etc. Hands-on experience in semiconductor materials characterization such as profilometry, AFM, film measurement etc. Experience with imaging and characterization TEM, SEM, FIB, EDX, ion beam, X ray spectroscopies Proven record of technical achievements and contributions Good verbal and written communication skills CMOS device electrical characterization experience is a plus
