Senior Research Analyst - Electrical and Computer Engineering

Job Summary

The microelectronics and nanotechnology area in the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering has leading research in novel materials synthesis, device, and circuit design and integration. High-resolution characterization and analysis of material properties to provide timely feedback to synthesis and integration are critical. This position will prepare material structures by focused ion beam and conduct structure, element or surface analysis on synthesized or fabricated materials or structures. The candidate should have extensive knowledge in electron microscopy and be able to conduct high-resolution transmission electron microscopy measurements and analysis.


Required:


Ph.D. in materials science or relevant area One (1) year of experience in electron microscopy Excellent communication skills Meticulous attention to detail Able to work independently and in a team Excellent time management, well-organized Strong problem-solving skills Ability to accommodate the communication needs of individuals across different ages, individuals from a variety of backgrounds, and individuals with varying communication skills
