Position Summary
The Sales Project Coordinator will support and work with the AIChE Sales team to deliver products to customers, coordinate product delivery internally and improve team processes. The Coordinator will primarily work with companies and AIChE stakeholders involved with conferences, advertising, the DIPPr database, and potentially other product areas
As the Sales Project Coordinator becomes familiar with the sales operations, there is an opportunity to take on additional responsibility, i.e., business development, work around lead generation, outreach and process development.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Associate Director, Sales, the Sales Project Coordinator will also work closely with the Senior Director of Business Solutions to achieve the following objectives:
Work with sales managers and other internal stakeholders to track, deliver and implement sponsor/exhibitor benefits for AIChE conferences Manage and send monthly advertising report Provide members/licensees access to DIPPr Acquire and enter leads into a database Develop ideas that will continue to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team Evaluate current sales processes and offer ideas for improvement Continue improving the customer experience Maintain accurate and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders related to sales products

Education & Work Experience Requirements
B.S. degree preferred Minimum of 2+ years’ experience, including administrative work Sales background a plus Experience within the chemical, energy, pharmaceutical industries a plus
