nanoComposix is a Fortis Life Sciences company specializing in R&D and manufacturing of innovative nanomaterials for research and commercial markets supporting medical devices and pharmaceuticals. We manufacture hundreds of different variants of metal and metal-oxide core/shell nanocomposites for a wide range of applications including clinical diagnostics, medical devices, biosensors, and optical effects. The Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all equipment which requires calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) is calibrated and maintained on time. The role will entail reviewing completed calibration and PMs, providing early warning notice to equipment owners, retrieving equipment, sending equipment out for calibration/PM, coordinating on-site calibration/PM activities with calibration and PM service providers, performing calibration/PM of equipment, scanning and data entry, and other duties related to maintaining an efficient, and compliant equipment control system.



Job Description


Reviews completed documentation of completed calibration/PM for equipment Performs at least weekly review of equipment status reports, and on a weekly basis to manage equipment coming due for calibration/PM Coordinates with Operations supervisor to assign action items to the team as to what requires calibration/PM, and associated follow-up to maintain a compliant equipment control system Works with internal departments, and calibration/PM service providers to arrange for timely handing of equipment requiring calibration/PM Handing incoming communication from internal customers, and responds to inquiries, complaints, billing questions, and payment requests Provides data for various tracking/trending reports pertaining to the status of the serviced equipment Provides training, support, and education to all equipment owners/system users, as it relates to the Equipment Control System; including specific work instructions Reviews and approves new equipment added to the system, including setting up the correct service requirements Reviews and approves requested extensions and coordinates re-labeling activity Reviews and approves requests to have equipment removed from the system, closes all tasks, and works with the owners to label/quarantine equipment Initiates and processes field service request electronically Initiates Equipment Investigation Reports to equipment owners for appropriate equipment that fails calibration Maintains the accuracy and integrity of data in the system
Qualifications


Education / Background


High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certificate or degree with a focus on electrical preferred

Knowledge, Skills Abilities


Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Very high level of attention to details Must be familiar with basic electrical instruments Must be capable of prioritizing and have excellent organizational skills Must have analytical and administrative skills Must follow all applicable FDA regulations and ISO requirements
