Precision Health Program at Michigan State University is seeking a postdoctoral Research Associate in the area of cancer nanotechnology. The program consists of five laboratories performing research on cutting edge discoveries related to new cancer pathways, image-guided therapies, nanotechnologies and bioassays. This position will be in Dr. Anna Moore’s laboratory and focuses on developing new nanodrugs for cancer treatment.
Specifically, the successful applicant will be expected to:
1. Design, synthesize and test various image-guided nanocarriers for drug delivery to tumor and metastatic sites;
2. Perform in vitro experiments in cell to test their response to the delivered drug;
3. Perform in vivo imaging of drug delivery using multi modal imaging systems
4. Perform imaging data analysis;
5. Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the lab.
This position is a 12 month fixed term appointment. Renewal of position is based on funding and performance.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Biology and/or Biomedical Sciences
