Strategic Marketing Manager - Batteries (remote)

Job Description :


Huntsman’s Advanced Materials Division is searching for a Strategic Marketing Manager, Batteries to be located Remotely.


The primary responsibility is to develop & implement global marketing strategies to ensure the long-term profitable growth for applications of MIRALON® materials in batteries and energy storage. It is essential to understand customers’ needs and to define products & services that meet these needs better than competition.


Strategic Marketing


Develop and oversee global strategic marketing plans for MIRALON materials in batteries and energy storage applications Develop target customer segmentation and compelling value propositions Identify attractive market opportunities and design effective business models Work with other functions to define new product & service requirements to capture selected opportunities and meet customer’s needs Participate in the innovation pipeline development process leading opportunity assessments for new innovations and providing overall strategic marketing direction. Develop sound business cases for innovation projects and launch plans to ensure successful commercialization of new products Liaise with operational marketing and commercial teams to support the creation & execution of regional growth plans, key messages, and collateral Define price policy & channel strategy to produce the highest possible long-term profit and market share in the target segments

Market and competitive intelligence


Conduct primary and secondary research to gather insights on customer needs, drivers, challenges, and purchase behavior Monitor the market landscape, industry news, and government initiatives/plans Analyze data, identify and track market trends, draw conclusions and develop recommendations Understand competitor products/services offerings and key differentiators. Track competitor activities and market share.

Skills and Experiences Requirements


Education : Business or technical degree. MBA or advanced degree in any business or economics discipline (i.e., advertising, finance, or marketing) is a plus


Experience : 5-7 years of professional marketing experience in B2B within a related sector such as batteries, battery materials, semiconductor, or nanotechnology is required .


Know-how/skills : Energetic and intuitive marketing strategist with exceptional leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results. Strong knowledge of marketing processes & tools. Able to engage & interact effectively with internal & external stakeholders and customers, with influencing and facilitation skills. Understand complex business organization and possess financial acumen. Solution and results oriented approach with a team player attitude. Take ownership & accountabilities for results. Strong track record in implementing and executing marketing strategies.
