Digital Business Analyst/Project Manager

This organisation leads the way in research that cover a range of disciplines, including physical, biological and engineering sciences, along with many contemporary fields such as nanotechnology and sustainability. It's researchers provide practical and relevant solutions to issues of national and international importance.


In this 12 month fixed term hire, that could extend, you will play a lead role working on the key portal for Researchers and Research Staff and ensuring that the roadmap and forward planning of the site suits all stakeholders. This role requires someone who understand the importance of customer journeys, who can analyse data and understand the target audience, has the ability to translate those into solutions and can focus on product roadmaps, as well as customer and user experience. While the role will be responsible for translating the requirements from the business and assisting the business in exploring what is possible in a digital ecosystem, it will also require the person to have some Project Management experience.


In this role you will:


Developing a product pipeline that grows customer value and help define the digital strategy. Gather requirements, develop user stories with acceptance criteria, manage the backlog, own sprint iterations plan and manage releases Articulate business needs and translate to a technical audience Take a lead role in acceptance testing and assimilate feedback to groom the backlog Manage the product through its lifecycle (not just its development) Create detailed wireframes, journey flows, business requirements, functional specs, or other recommendations as needed to improve engagement or internal business processes Develop and sustain sound working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You will bring to the role:


Business Analysis experience with some Project Management capabilities gained in digital environment and is confident in leading discussions in that environment). Minimum of two years of experience working with digital products. Experience with gathering and eliciting requirements using a range of techniques and methods Experience working with cross-functional and agile teams to deliver results throughout the product lifecycle. Hands on experience with data analytics and reporting Hands on experience with product and design workshop facilitation Demonstrated knowledge of UI, UX, HTML and CSS
