We are looking for a Semiconductor process engineer to join our Device Team. You will be working in a semiconductor cleanroom and assisting in different processing steps including chemical etching, material development, and chemical cleaning processing steps, etc.
VueReal is developing the next generation of optoelectronic devices (displays for AR, automotive, aerospace, and medical; sensors and more) in North America with growing interest and demands from our partners. The microLED fabrication processing steps are very crucial in our overall display development process. And so your responsibilities and tasks will be directly contributing to support our partners, ship our products, and develop our technology.
The TOOLS YOU need to do the job
Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering or nanotechnology Experience working in a clean room environment Experience with semiconductor device fabrication Knowledge of photonics devices Experience working with chemicals safely
YOUR typical day during our Integration/Training phase
Receive extensive hands on training from team members related to fabrication process Learn and receive training on VueReal’s software and system platforms Receive trainings on safety protocols working in clean room environment Get training on operation of equipment
YOUR typical day post our integration phase
Responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of standard and special semiconductor processing equipment Perform wet process including but not limited to wet etching, wet treatment, lift off and development Maintain wet benches including acid and solvent benches Investigate and develop new recipes when required Assist different fab processes including depositions, etching, lithography, etc. when required

We take a huge pride in our team and its achievements such as being the first team to make 7000 ppi microLED array and top it by 30000 ppi, the first team making a true printing microLED solution, being named one of the top ten Scale-up companies in Canada 2019, the first and only North American company to build displays, commercializing microLED displays, and even more that we cannot talk about publicly.
