Your Opportunity at VueReal
We are looking for an Optoelectronic Integration Engineer to join our Device Team. You will be assisting in printing micrometer size optoelectronic devices into substrates to form different functional devices such as VueReal's Micro-LED displays. During this process, you will be using different tools such as manual and automated micro-printers, pacakging tool, laser processing, inspection tools, and more.
VueReal is developing the next generation of optoelectronic devices (displays for AR, automotive, aerospace, and medical; sensors and more) in North America with growing interest and demands from our partners. Your responsibilities and tasks in integrating the microdevices into functioanl devices will be directly contributing to support our partners, ship our products, and develop our technology.
The TOOLS YOU need to do the job
Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering, nanotechnology, mechanical engineering or related field Experience with micro-electronic/ optic assembly technologies is an asset (die bonding/ flip chip processing/ wafer bonding/ optical alignment) Familiarity with polymer adhesive bonding is an asset.. Experience working in a clean room environment Experience with semiconductor device fabrication Knowledge of photonics devices
YOUR typical day during our Integration/Training phase
Receive extensive hands on training on VueReal’s automatic die bonder Learn and receive training on VueReal’s software and system platforms Get training from team members to learn and understand bonding process, materials and procedure
YOUR typical day post our integration phase
Assist day to day bonding of optoelectronic devices Maintain automatic bonder to make sure consistent bonding within the tolerance specifications Troubleshoot potential issues related to transfer Investigate various bonding methods and materials

We take a huge pride in our team and its achievements such as being the first team to make 7000 ppi microLED array and top it by 30000 ppi, the first team making a true printing microLED solution, being named one of the top ten Scale-up companies in Canada 2019, the first and only North American company to build displays, commercializing microLED displays, and even more that we cannot talk about publicly.
