The company is growing aggressively, investing in its leadership, team, and technology with a recent $150mm financing round led by Fidelity and TRowe price. The company’s advanced CRISPR-based platform, consisting of an instrument, reagents, and software, offers a fully automated workflow that enables multiplexed, trackable editing of cells at an unprecedented scale. Inscripta’s mission is to enable scientists to realize the full potential of biology. Due to rapid growth and recent commercialization, Inscripta has an opening for a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate located in Boulder, CO.


Summary:


Inscripta is searching for a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join its growing Chemistry & Metrology team. The role will focus primarily on synthesizing reagents and biomaterials and performing the associated analytical techniques. The successful candidate will thrive in a data-driven, highly innovative, dynamic R&D environment and aid the transition to a robust manufacturing environment. The candidate will work closely with researchers across multiple disciplines to build Inscripta’s next generation of transformative technologies.


Responsibilities:


Synthesize and chemically functionalize reagents, surfaces, and other biomaterials to support broader research and development efforts Perform and optimize associated analytical assays and techniques for quality control Aid in the development of novel reagent production and characterization workflows Document experimental procedures and results clearly and thoroughly Present experimental results in written and oral form to stakeholders both within the Metrology team and to broader audiences Work collaboratively in cross-functional research teams with biologists, chemists, engineers, and bioinformaticians Apply statistically rigorous experimental design and analysis . Requirements: BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related discipline 1-5 years of wet lab experience in the development, synthesis, and characterization of micro/nanoparticles, polymers, biomacromolecules, hydrogels, or other biomaterials for in vitro delivery and imaging Basic proficiency with some combination of DLS, fluorescence microscopy, UV-Vis, NMR, or FTIR Familiarity with common bioconjugation techniques and nanomaterials synthesis routes Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, R, C++, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus

Inscripta offers a competitive base salary, bonus plan, benefits package, 401k match and an attractive equity program to all team members. Base Salary Range: $50,000 to $75,000 per year. Base salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
