About the role:



The Facilities Technician reports to the Production Supervisor and also works closely with the Plant Manager in creating and maintaining a clean, safe and functional work environment. The successful Facilities Technician is a self-starter, organized, reliable, a guru in multitasking and fastidious in keeping the areas clean throughout the production floor.



What you’ll be doing:



Cleaning and organizing the entire Production floor as well as the utilities equipment areas on the exterior of the building. Responsible for garbage and recycling within each Process area (sweep/vacuum near Pusher Kiln, sweep/vacuum in Powder Room and CVI room). Maintaining inventories and placing orders in LabSpend for PPE, tools, production and sampling supplies for each operation. Spreadsheet creation for managing all items, min/max of supplies. Spreadsheet creation and updating for inventory/stock of spare parts and items in storage areas (pallet racking, mobile mini’s etc.) Helping to create visual boards for what each area should always look like with guidance from the area Lead. Setting up shadow boards for each area, tools etc. Assisting with operations when/where needed. Ordering and maintaining whatever cleaning supplies and equipment are required for maintaining the Production floor. Cleaning floor with a broom and floor scrubber. Loading & unloading delivery trucks using material handling equipment. Maintaining strong communication with the team. Maintaining strong attendance Other assigned duties as needed.

What we are looking for:



1+ years of experience in general warehousing and/or within a manufacturing environment Computer proficiency: G-Suite, MS Office and the Internet Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with adverse situations positively Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Forklift experience or the ability to be certified onsite
