Electrical Assembler/Wirer

CVD Equipment Corporation
, located in Central Islip, NY, has an opportunity for an Electrical Assembler/Wirer. The Electrical Assembler wires and assembles electrical and electronic circuits and systems of parts and sub-assemblies. Fabricates and installs wiring harnesses, ducts, ducts, track, and cabling.
What you will do:
Proactively adhere to all safety standards and established protocols.
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
Identify components and wiring information from schematics and perform point to point wiring.
Install Electro-mechanical components to custom main frame assemblies.
Identify and select appropriate wire gauge in accordance with NFPA 70 NEC.
Perform cabling, harnessing and PCA manufacturing.
Ensure product conformance to specification.
Operate small hand and power tools such as drills, taps, etc.
Requirements
Education & Experience
High School graduate or equivalent with Vocational/Trade School/Military training in Electrical Concepts or equivalent experience.
1+ years of relevant electrical assembly and wiring experience.
Will apprentice.
Required Skills & Abilities:

Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Skills required in handling basic or simple tools and/or measuring devices such as tape measure, caliper, etc.
Dexterity skills, good hand and eye coordination
Attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
