Position summary

Data analysis and visualisation is key in microfluidics R&D projects at PNI/Pall. You will be responsible for analysing, organizing, and visualising data to support the development of next generation nanoparticles and next generation nanoparticle manufacturing devices.

This is not a traditional data science position as we are not dealing with “big data”. If you are a generalist capable of working with data from a wide variety of sources including microscopy, electron microscopy, plate-based assays, light scattering, biological assays and transducer readouts you will excel in this position. You will need to assist in the planning of experiments, develop software to parse the data, apply statistics and data science fundamentals to analyse it and create visualisations which clearly communicate results. Based on interest and ability other software tasks such as computational fluid dynamics and programming instrumentation for data collection may be assigned.

Role and responsibilities

Data analysis and visualisation. Developing systems to organise and index data. Automating data analysis and visualisation tasks. Based on interest and ability the role may also include: Developing a computational fluid dynamics pipeline Programming to control custom instrumentation used for experiments
