Position Summary:



The VP Sales will be responsible for the global sales of PNI’s product & services. He/she/they will be accountable for achieving orders targets across product lines and sales regions. The VP Sales will develop and execute a sales strategy to meet company objectives including order targets, sales growth, market expansion and new product sales. As a member of the Executive team, the VP Sales will contribute to PNI’s overarching corporate strategy, including providing business insight.



The VP Sales will provide commercial leadership to the preclinical sales team, the clinical sales team and the field application scientist team. He/she/they will also collaborate with their peers at Pall, Cytiva and other Danaher Operating Companies to provide customers with outsized value through the provision of a complete solution for the development of genomic medicines.



Responsibilities:


Support the PNI leadership to advance new application areas and markets as we add further depth to our business. He/she/they will also be responsible for streamlining processes and overseeing the global sales teams and sales operations and help guide sales strategies globally. Lead and build strong effective teams within the PNI organization by utilizing DBS and managing talent to ensure the continued development of the global sales organization. Drive orders, and increase new product sales while minimizing cost. Set order targets globally, regionally and by product line Establish effective sales incentive plans that drive growth and promote strategic initiatives Lead global accounts and strategic account management activities, conduct contract reviews, provide monthly qualified input to demand planning and product forecasting, measure business performance globally, and develop business retention strategies. Lead initiatives related to strategic customer revenue growth, new product and application revenue, margin vs. budget, and revenue and margin actual vs. projection for special initiatives. Effectively lead communication regarding annual company goals, market analysis, field communications, and team trainings. Partner with global teams to effectively manage talent. Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience:


BS Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline Minimum 10 years’ experience in related field Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high-impact results Ability to continually integrate new learnings with existing knowledge Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Experience working in a multi-disciplinary, global enterprise and highly collaborative team orientated environment Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken Excellent analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, as well as the ability to interact and collaborate successfully with all levels and functional areas
