Summary/Objective
Forge Nano Inc, a fast-growing thin-film coating company with a focus on manufacturing equipment for nano-scale coatings across a wide range of markets is seeking a detail-oriented Quality and Service Technician reporting to the Service Manager. This position covers a broad range of duties, including fulfilling spare part orders, reconditioning components, testing components, completing documentation, and helping with various assembly and customer service tasks.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Perform refurbishment and assembly tasks, including wiring, polishing, light machining, etc Perform equipment testing and documenting pass fail criteria and calibration values Pull, inspect, pack and ship spare parts to fulfill customer orders Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the spare parts inventory Follow necessary documentation for procedures, processes, and best-known-methods including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and completing relevant checklists Assist in overflow general assembly of production Maintain a safe work environment and staying OSHA compliant with relevant safety training
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent or better 4+ years quality, assembly, or manufacturing relevant experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
Detail oriented Familiar with Office Products: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. Experience working in an ISO environment Experience following and/or writing work instructions and standard operating procedures Diligent organization and the ability to follow checklists exactly and completely The instinct to look for the answer and asks questions if something seems off or wrong Manufacturing quality control experience Ability to plan for deadlines and provide feedback to managers around feasibility and constraints.
Work Environment
Work is carried out in a large technical facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be around hazardous chemicals at times. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment including but not limited to eye protection, gloves, steel toe shoes, lab coat, and in the plant, a hard hat. An employee in this position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention. Strict adherence to corporate and/or plant policies, rules and regulations in these areas is required.

The employee occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. Lifting of containers upwards of 50lbs will be required periodically.

No travel is expected to be required for this position.
Compensation
Hourly $22-25 based on experience Eligible for overtime with manager approval Medical/dental/vision/disability and life insurance, holidays, PTO, Flexible Spending Account, and 401(k) plan.
