Materials Analysis Lab Technician

Job Description


In this position, you will be part of a Technology and Development (TD) Materials Analysis Lab supporting Intel's advanced technology development for process performance, yield and reliability.


Work is completed according to general instructions. Some degree of judgment is required in resolving nonstandard problems. Training will be provided.


You will be responsible for but not limited to:


Technical functions in support of engineering activities in the Materials Analysis analytical labs. Conduct hand-on tasks to perform nano-scale sample preparation using Dual-beam FIB in support of key technology development of Intel. Maintain necessary records and work with Engineers to develop lab BKM methods.

This position is available for Shifts 1 or 7.


This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly.



Qualifications



Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Physical Science or Engineering related field. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:


Prior Focused Ion Beam (FIB) or Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) experience. 1+ years of hands-on Lab experience. Knowledge of ultra-high vacuum.
