The VP Academic program know as the N-DEAR Leader (Nano Dimension Applied Research Programs for Academia) will be responsible for leading and executing the global effort to engage Academic institutions in a range of programs with Nano Dimension. You will be the matrixed leader responsible for the engagement of Academia which leads to sales, advancement of research and innovation, publications, development, awareness, and brand/image.
N-DEAR consists of several programs including international contests, machine sales & donation, lecturers, whitepaper development, academic pricing, intern, and co-op programs. The leader will develop and execute an overarching strategy to drive this Academia engagement while working with the Regional general managers to execute the program on behalf of the business.
Responsibilities:
Build and execute programs to drive engagement with Academia institutions, and specifically research departments Work with global marketing to develop academia-specific campaigns, promote special pricing packages, contests, media relations efforts, and more Develop business development strategy for Academia Manage academic paper development Develop academic marketplace and pricing Build and run academic lab programs Develop and run coop and intern programs for Nano Dimension Research, identify, attend, and appropriately represent Nano in Academic consortium events and conferences
Requirements:
10 years experience engaging in academic, community, or government programs. Bachelors in engineering or communication-related field Well networked within Academia and non-for-profits Ability to operate at senior levels within Academia independently Familiar with government programs to engage academic community and local companies Have a history of achieving results.
Preferred Qualification:
Having run prior academic engagement programs Background in electronics or additive manufacturing
