Position Summary: Responsible for welding/assembling components and sub-assemblies in accordance with company standards. Working primarily in a manufacturing setting, successful candidate will work under the direction of a Manufacturing Supervisor.
Essential Duties:
Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space Comprehend and follow ISO procedures to ensure compliance with standard Move materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time Perform rigging, lifting and moving of product using cranes, forklifts, metal carts etc. Participate in Continuous Improvement program Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surfaces and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and climb stairs Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding to the outside ambient temperatures MIG/TIG experience Proficient shop math and measurement skills Reading and interpretation of blue prints/drawings Familiar with NDE Procedures Able to work overtime as required
Experience:
At least 2 years welding in a manufacturing environment
