Are you looking for lab work and project ownership that ties chemical interactions and kinetics with surface science to advanced semiconductor manufacturing and heterogeneous integration? Then come join our multi-disciplinary team in the Assembly Prototyping Lab within the Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) group at Intel. We collaborate with research, manufacturing and product teams to build and prototype tomorrow's future products, often making that deemed impossible possible.
In this role you will be responsible for enabling advanced etches, cleans and surface treatments to selectively remove or functionalize nanometer to micron thick patterned or continuous layers with low defectivity using wet chemistries and state-of-the-art equipment.
You will be responsible for detailed process understanding, including but not limited to
Semiconductor fabrication methods and impact on material structures or solubility Detailing chemical or surface reaction dynamics or kinetics and validating with experiment Spectroscopic and surface analysis techniques Design of representative experiments, including characterization and analysis to drive data-driven conclusions Working with equipment and material vendors to account for variabilities in tool operation or material supply
The candidate should also exhibit the following behavior traits and/or skills:
Attention to detail A learning pre-disposition and desire to connect observation with chemical/physical fundamentals Initiative, resourcefulness and ability to work independently Clear communication skills Ability to plan and act when faced with ambiguity Planning and execution to timeline
You will work within a team, but have clear, individual project deliverables with time-constraints that support the success of the team.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
