Research Scientist Lithography (Yorktown Heights, NY area)

Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM T.J. Watson Research Center's Advance Lithography Group is currently looking for an researcher with expertise and hands-on experience in lithography, patterning and metrology. The candidate will be part of an exploratory research team on patterning for leading-edge devices and systems as well as for pushing the frontier of information technology through IBM internal and external engagements. The hired candidate will be responsible for developing lithography/patterning strategy, lithography materials/processes, metrology/measurement technologies, and interacting with integrators, interfacing with tool and materials suppliers as well as IBM and external foundry partners. The candidate needs to have extensive experience and knowledge in photolithographic materials, process, optics, and CAD design, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

This position is located in the Yorktown Heights, NY area.



Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Master degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Nano Science and Engineering or a related field
2 More than 3 years of profession experience in lithography area
3. CAD design
4. Proven communication skills


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Nano Science and Engineering or a related
2. Experience in direct write lithography
