How will you make an impact?
As part of the chromatography chemistry R&D team, you will support the product development process for consumables and LC-MS based proteomics workflows. You will also collaborate with multiple teams across sites in San Jose, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, and Ghent, Belgium to develop and test low flow LC consumables on state-of-the-art liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry systems.

Test chromatography consumables products and its full documentationParticipate in all phases of the product development from product discovery to commercializationIncorporate new technologies & optimize LC-MS workflowsCoordinate with the project teams to ensure quality of the productCommunicate project status and technical input to other functional teams, stakeholders, and management
How will you get here?
Education
MS/PhD in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or relevant technical discipline; industry or post-doc experience is preferred
Experience
8+ years of analytical chemistry experience utilizing various analytical techniques including LC-MS; experience in proteomics is highly preferredExperience with nano, micro, and analytical flow LC methods, and ability to run relevant experimentsEffective analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills to bolster decision-making capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to provide technical direction and feedbackHands-on experience with state-of-the-art LS-MS platformsProven experience with scientific data analysis, interpretation, and visualization
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
