As the Technical Applications Specialist- Semiconductor, you will be responsible for assisting Busch internal and external customers with optimizing and implementing Semiconductor applications.

Essential Functions Statement(s)


Provide onsite/remote technical consultations to Sales companies on the use, capabilities, and troubleshooting of semiconductor applications Manage the Semiconductor Application Database Act as a Semiconductor technical resource for Sales, Systems, and Service associates. Participate in Sales project teams for Semiconductor fab extension and greenfield installs Ensure technical knowledge transfer between all customer-facing teams and train field-based and in-house technical applications associates. Partner with Sales and Service organization to rapidly resolve issues at the customer site and improve product reliability. Develop and deliver both pre-and post-sales technical presentations aligned with Medium High Vacuum business initiatives. Create a product demonstration strategy working with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to provide customers with product demonstrations. Make recommendations for new products and applications and enhancements to existing products to the Global R & D team. Provide planning input and onsite support for MHV sales/marketing events, including technical support for trade shows, sponsored seminar series, and user group meetings. Interface with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to collaborate with customers to generate relevant data and create white papers, application notes, and customer presentations.

Qualifications that set you up for success:


Master’s degree in Chemical engineering: Required, Ph.D. preferred Experience working in a similar position preferred Previous experience providing onsite technical customer-facing support is desired. Technical writing experience is preferred Previous specialized demonstration experience in support of Sales and Marketing is preferred. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Effective organization and planning skills. Demonstrated ability to operate independently and strategically to achieve individual and corporate goals. High proficiency with Ms. Office tools
