Lab Manager

Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced laboratory manager with an appropriate scientific background to join our team. The lab manager of the NANO-THERMAL BIOENGINEERING LABORATORY should be well versed in lab management related to funded projects. The lab manager will assist the PI in maintaining daily operations in the lab and ensuring laboratory safety. The lab manager is expected to train researchers on lab methods and protocols. Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. A minimum of two years experience with lab equipment and related facilities.


Preferred Education and Experience Prior lab supervision experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Manage lab inventory Maintain tool status Develop instructions for use for lab equipment Train lab researchers on protocols Maintain safety records for the lab Maintain project reports Personnel training Lab management Organize and maintain lab data storage Physical Activities Working Conditions Additional Information Hybrid remote work environment available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the State of Texas (or Must be located within the DFW Area) and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
