Yield Night Shift Process Engineer

Process Engineers develop and sustain such processes as diffusion, etching, plating, lithographic printing, thin film deposition in semiconductor fab manufacturing operations. Plans and implements capacity, and operational improvements to maximize output while improving the safety and quality of operations. As module owner, conducts tests and measurements of their operations to determine control over critical dimensions and defectivity of the process line. Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and optimizing production output for existing products. Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment. Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting tools and processes reactively when something has changed on the line or proactively to maximize output. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications



You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.



Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in an Engineering and/or Science discipline such as Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.



Preferred Qualifications:


6+ months of experience in Semiconductor devices and circuits, measurements and testing, microscopy, microprocessor architecture, and nano-technology.


3+ months of experience with semiconductor devices and circuits, electrical measurements and testing or device physics.


6+ months of experience in operating and maintaining laboratory, testing or manufacturing equipment.
