Electrical Controls Engineer

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate must be able to develop PLC Programs to control and monitor automation machines. Develop Validation, Verification, Testing and Automation Documents. Execute Validation and Verification tests.Work with P&IDs, Electrical Diagrams.

Responsibilities:


Develop PLC programs to control and monitor automation machines. Develop Validation, Verification, Testing and Automation Documents including RFDS (Recipe Functional Design Spec), RTP (Recipe Test Protocol), FS, URS, SFAT, SMTP, SCOM, I/O Lists, HDS, SMDS and SDS for a variety of projects. Execute Validation and Verification tests including SFAT, RTP, SMTP, SCOM, FAT and SAT on TFF Skids, Chromatography skids, Nano Filtration, Ultra-Filtration Skids and various other skids for pharmaceutical/biotech Industries. Work with P&IDs, Electrical Diagrams, SDS, SMDS, RTP, RFDS, PLC (RS Logix 5000, 500), Soft Logix, iFix, FactoryTalk View Studio, FactoryTalk Batch and RSLinx. Monitor and troubleshoot automation issues. Conduct Validation and Verification of Wonderware Systems using Wonderware System Platform 2014R2 and Inbatch 2014R3. Configure Win-911 Alarm Notification Software. Work with Emerson, Delta V, Micrologix 1400 (Allen Bradley), LogixPro, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Messung 1k and S7-1500, Factory Talk View Studio, iFix, Wonderware System Platform 2014R2, InBatch 2014R3, Win-911, Power World Simulator, Labview, ETAP, VMware. 40 hrs/wk.

Qualifications:


Must have Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master’s) and 1 year experience (or 1 year experience as a Controls Engineer/Intern, Systems Engineer, or related occupation). Must have 1 year experience working with Emerson, Delta V, Micrologix 1400 (Allen Bradley), and developing PLC programs to control and monitor automation machines. Must be willing to travel to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice.
