Position description

The Department of NanoEngineering (http://ne.ucsd.edu), which administers the NanoEngineering and Chemical Engineering undergraduate and graduate degree programs for the Jacobs School of Engineering, invites applications for temporary, non-tenure track lecturers (Unit 18). Courses may include undergraduate lower- and upper-division lecturers in the areas of Chemical Engineering, Physical Properties of Materials and Mechanical Behavior of Materials. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates should have expertise in undergraduate and graduate education in Chemical Engineering and/or NanoEngineering, and can provide evidence of effective and innovative teaching. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Engineering with the subject of Chemical Engineering, NanoEngineering, or similar advanced graduate degree, with experience, preferably in industry, in laboratory work or topics related to those fields.
