Postdoctoral Research Associate - Integrated Circuits (IC)

The Postdoctoral Fellow, ECS serves in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Baylor University. This position will report to Dr. Vincent Leung, Associate Professor, and will assist in research on analog/ RF circuit design for bio-implantable ICs. The project is led by multi-institute multi-disciplinary collaborators with expertise in microelectronics, wireless communication, neuroscience, neuro-technology, nano-fabrication, and material science.


The position is fully-funded and is available for three years. Anticipated start date: ASAP .


Qualifications


PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field Strong mixed-signal/ RFIC design, tape-out and characterization experiences in sub-micron CMOS technologies Working knowledge of Cadence design, simulation, layout, and verification tools Knowledge of compact, low-power, low-noise neural frontend circuit design is highly desirable
