QC HPLC Sr Technician-1st Shift

How will you make an impact?


Within the Quality organization of the Chelmsford, MA facility, we are seeking a career-conscious HPLC Technician for an exciting opportunity to be part of the quality control team for a fast-growing business! The ideal candidate will be a capable HPLC Technician who can work independently and as a member of the team, in a fast-paced environment, bringing chromatography expertise to enhance our Quality Team.


What will you do?


Perform simple and complex analyses in support of lot release or laboratory investigations, including but not limited to: column packing, buffer prep, and functional testing on LC instruments. Maintain detailed records of all work carried out and report results in a clear, timely and informative manner. Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation (FPLC, HPLC, UV-Vis Spectrometer, Nano Drop, etc.). Provide training in your area of expertise and foster a culture of learning. Review laboratory operations and find opportunities for improvements to Quality related process/procedures/documents (e.g. standard lab practices, Quality Procedures and SOPs, analytical test methods and electronic data integrity).

Education and Experience


HS Diploma, or equivalent, with 5+ years of related Quality Control experience OR Associate’s or equivalent degree from accredited college/university in relevant scientific field with 2+ years of experience OR Bachelors degree from accredited college/university in relevant scientific field Able to work safely with chemicals, biologics and hazardous material Experience with chromatography systems and/or software is a plus Experience with Downstream Purification of biologicals is valuable

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


Read, understand and follow written procedures exactly Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment and adjust activities to meet the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on Quality. Excellent inter-personal, communication and organizational skills with good attention to detail. Knowledge of Quality standard (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA, ICH) guidelines is desirable Familiarity with SAP, Agile, E1, LIMS or other electronic data/document management systems is a plus
