Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems Inc., a Terran Orbital company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Administrator at our Irvine, CA location. Tyvak is a leading worldwide provider of nanosatellite and microsatellite vehicles, services, and solutions to Commercial and Government customers. As a Systems Administrator, the candidate will manage, repair, and maintain critical servers, desktops, and laptop software and hardware on a daily basis. This ranges from day-to-day help-desk tasks for employees to maintenance of back-end infrastructure for the company.
Requirements
Regularly perform security checks and troubleshooting Identify problems in a timely manner. Suggest and implement solutions for improvement. Track existing processes and offer solutions for improvement. Implement new processes with the goal to optimize company's security system. Stay up to date with the latest security technology and trends. Attend related conferences and educational events to stay competent. Work with the development team Perform regular audits and provide reports. Monitor company's server traffic and tickets. Database and servers hardening. Windows and Linux patch management. Vulnerability scanning and remediation. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS. Follow STIG policies and procedures. Firewall and network security. Office 365 administration Active Directory, DHCP,DNS Group Policies Documentations Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 Troubleshooting
