The Role


The role is working as part of the Mindshare’s Global Unilever team servicing Unilever’s Global Media team providing key guidance and recommendations Work within the Digital Centre of Excellence team alongside other digital experts in eCom, partnerships, sponsorship, DDM, etc Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best-in-class solutions Build, scale and optimise our influencer marketing practice Develop and optimise the influencer marketing roadmap in line with business needs An in depth understanding of the role of influencers across both the paid and affiliate channel, to drive brand engagement as well as influencer driven commerce. Evaluate and consult on each stage of the process including discovery, outreach, negotiation, briefing, reporting and long-term relationship management Continually improve and develop brand briefs to put influencer marketing at the heart An agnostic understanding of the best tools and platforms available to scale our global influencer partnership roster, including but not limited to Hype Auditor, MoDash, Neoreach. Work closely with local media and brand teams to advise and land meaningful campaigns which grow brand awareness and increase positive sentiment Set up, manage, and report on optimal creative tests: Formulate thoughtful hypotheses, analyse results with statistical rigor, and thoroughly document results. Build and maintain relationships with external agencies Stay up to date on key nano, micro, mid, macro and mega influencers across a range of categories and markets Maintain ongoing documentation of new learnings, best practices, and processes to build our knowledge base while sharing these regularly cross global and local teams Ability to develop competitive reports, identify trends, opportunities, or challenges in a timely manner to give clients competitive advantage Significant industry experience and knowledge of the influencer market some of which should have been spent in a performance driven role Previous experience driving global governance with a skew towards performance-based campaigns Previous experience building and optimising influencer strategies from scratch Excellent briefing skills Excellent understanding of analytics tools A data driven and pragmatic approach to optimising processes Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills Good understanding of CRM and content management tools to be able to evaluate and advise clients and teams Strong analytical skills: not only are you comfortable working with large quantities of data and gleaning key insights, you also have the knowledge and experience to make decisions in scenarios where data is limited

The Ideal Candidate


Substantial Influencer campaign management experience for a brand, agency or platform An understanding of how influencers can play a key role in building brand awareness, affinity, content creation and driving commercial value for brands In-depth knowledge of both current and emerging global social platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Snap, Linkedin, Facebook and TikTok Understanding of tools in different markets to support our influencer marketing efforts Outstanding communication, negotiation and organisational skills

Essential Criteria


A proactive self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to meet deadlines Confident in managing multiple stakeholder relationships Strong attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time Team player but also be able to work independently Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with previous experience of dealing with influencer marketing metrics and putting together client presentations A solid understanding of Influencer Marketing measurement and reporting Very comfortable and confident with numbers Strong presentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in developing and leading client relationships Experience with 3rd Party platforms Proven experience in the influencer marketing space Proven track record of developing capabilities across teams and markets

Responsibilities


Work with the digital COE lead and other digital partners to deliver on key projects to evolve the processes, systems, and tools in place to support influencer marketing efforts. Ensure global governance looking at tools, management and for support on local market/regional roadmaps Work with local markets to understand their challenges and drive best in class local activation enabling market success and capability building Drive global communications strategy planning working with global strategy directors Develop opportunities for scaling, brand safety and best practise Identifies and improves challenges and demonstrates a clear POV
