Regional Sales Manager

Nano-purification solutions Ltd. was acquired by the Atlas Copco group in January 2021 and has the mission to maintain its independent brand identity and to further develop its business worldwide. Nano-purification solutions has its factory and headquarters in the North of England and employs around 60 people worldwide in sister companies in the Germany, USA and Canada.



Part of the strategy is to further develop our presence with OEM’s and distributors in key markets so therefore we are searching for a Regional Sales Manager to build upon our existing presence in the North of the UK.

The role reports directly to the Business Development Director of Nano-purification solutions Ltd. and will be actively involved in strategic direction, as well as sales. Liaison with the factory in the UK will be required.



The mission of the role is to deliver aggressive levels of growth for our product range into OEM’s and distributors. This will be achieved by close and regular interaction with existing and target customers throughout the territory.



Key Responsibilities



Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including sales and profit – especially managing personal time and productivity.


Undertake proposals, with the support of the Business Development Director, including the calculation of sales prices to achieve the targeted growth.


Support sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.


Maintain regular contact with all customers’ especially key accounts.


Develop and maintain good customer relationships at all levels within the region and ensure an excellent standard of after sales service is provided.


Support sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the timely recording of visit and action reports (including lost order reports) and analysis of sales performance against budgets.


Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.


Liaise with colleagues and other parts of the group to co-ordinate activities where appropriate to ensure that sales are obtained.


Use customer and prospect contact activities, tools and systems, and update relevant information held in the CRM system.


Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.


Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.


Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment.


Experience requirements



Proven experience of sales for at least 5 years – sales management experience would be an advantage.


Experience in selling capital equipment into the compressed air/gas sectors is desirable.


Experience of sales into OEM accounts and distributors would be an advantage.


Candidates should have experience of negotiating high value contracts.



Knowledge




PC literate, including MS Office and Outlook.



Educational requirements



Ideally possess a degree or Equivalent.
