META is seeking an ERP Specialist for our facility in Dartmouth, NS. You will play a key role in establishing an ERP center of excellence in all our North American and European sites as well as for future new sites.

What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible for ERP implementation, integration and maintenance across all entities as well as ensuring that META is in compliance with SOX 404 requirements with regard to IT general controls and ERP software.
Some of the typical responsibilities will include:
Prepare and direct an ERP implementation plan in each of the Company’s current locations as well as any potential future acquisitions. Manage and maintain ERP system and requests. This would include report writing, creating workflows as well as change and access management. Analyze and troubleshoot ERP system issues reported by users. Ensure that the ERP and any IT related controls meet the required SOX- 404 internal controls standards. Draft and implement SOP’s and training guidelines for the current ERP system. Other assigned projects, as required.
Minimum qualifications:
3 years of experience in maintaining an ERP system. Experience with SQL. Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, teams, SharePoint). Strong technical aptitude. Demonstrate problem solving capabilities. Self-starting with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field, is preferred. We can accept appropriate and hands on experience if it is relevant and significant. Experience working in a Manufacturing company. Experience working with Plex ERP systems. Understanding of the fundamentals of accounting.
