Human Resources Business Partner

META is seeking a senior level Human Resources Business Partner based out of our facility in Dartmouth, NS. You will play a key role in scaling our global team and building people programs that create a great employee experience and elevate organization-wide performance.

What You’ll Do
:



You’re an experienced HR professional who has a sweet spot for supporting rapidly growing organizations and working with technically brilliant people. Your colleagues describe you as someone who brings a fresh perspective and comes to the table with a solutions mindset. As the HR Business Partner at Meta, you will support a global team with a focus on thoughtfully scaling the organization and implementing people solutions that result in creating a great employee experience.



Some of the typical responsibilities will include:


Acting as a culture champion and bringing META's cultural guiding principles to life through how you work and the people practices you create for the business Partnering with our talent acquisition team and leaders to build a diverse team and hire the best talent for META Leveraging leading best practices to drive unique and creative people solutions that fit with META’s culture and global workforce Implementing people programs and practices across a variety of business units and providing coaching and advice to help leaders and employees thrive at META Championing a culture of feedback, open communication and transparency that elevates employee performance Supporting day-to-day operational related activities that go along with being part of a small team Other duties as required

Minimum qualifications:


Degree in Business, Human Resources management, or related field Previous experience supporting a rapidly growing technology focused organization An open mind to doing HR differently; "what has worked there may not work here" Passion for business strategy & operations and a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into effect of HR solutions A love for data and the ability to make data-driven decisions Agility and the ability to be one step ahead in support of a growing team The ability to build strong relationships Ability to travel to other office locations in North America and Europe on an as needed basis

Preferred qualifications:



Human resources professional designation Participation in Mergers & Acquisition related activities
