As an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional, you are ready to make a real difference. You’ve shown
an intuitive feel for EHS systems and how they bring guidance and best practices to business. You have the
technical writing and communication skills to take on more responsibility in a growing environment. At Nanotech,
our world-class development and manufacturing operation will be a perfect fit. We’re building a team to bring us
back to our roots and take us to the next level expected by our customers. This includes development and
continual improvement of a certified ISO-based Business Management System (BMS), which will include the ISO
14001 Environmental Management System and 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
standards. We’re looking for someone to help our team by implementing those requirements under the umbrella
of a multi-standard ISO certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-build the BMS – With a clear mandate from senior management, update and/or create from scratch, the core documented processes required to meet ISO 14001 and 45001. BMS Implementation – As the documentation is built, assist, and educate the team to follow the core documented processes required to meet ISO 14001and 45001. BMS Improvements – Track, monitor and audit the BMS with the goal of finding improvements in implementation and compliance. EHS Requirements – Assist in creating requirements for and monitoring environmental and health & safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with EHS Management Systems, including ISO 14001and 45001. Post-secondary degree or diploma. Strong SOP and report writing skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively without supervision while providing leadership to others, including manufacturing and R&D staff. Experience with ISO 9001 and 14298 is an asset. Applicable EHS related certifications is an asset. English required. French Bilingual an asset.

LumaChrome™ optical thin film security features are manufactured using precision engineered nanometer thick
layers of metals and ceramics to form filters designed to uniquely manipulate visible and non-visible light. This
unique manipulation of light properties is used to create specialized security features in the form of threads,
stripes, and patches that are applied to banknotes and other secure documents.
