Laboratory Technician - Testing

We seek a detail-orientated team member with electrical device testing experience. In this role you will work closely with scientists and engineers to organize and place battery cells on and off test, perform routine electrochemical testing and physical characterization, log data, and support the assembly of next-generation lithium battery cells. Ideal candidates will have prior firsthand experience in device testing and fabrication (for example: battery cells, medical devices, semiconductors, consumer electronics, etc.) and demonstrated success in their discipline. This position requires strong communication skills to develop efficient feedback loops and an ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures. This role offers an enthusiastic individual the opportunity to make a climate-positive impact while being at the forefront growing an advanced-materials startup into a flourishing business.

What you will do


Assemble testing fixtures with battery cells, connect to battery testing equipment, operate equipment to perform routine cell testing, log data, and flag, takedown, and dispose of cells.Proactively provide feedback to continually improve testing and assembly processes.Build effective communication channels with scientists and engineers to ensure testing results are reliable and resources are used efficiently to accelerate product development.Diligently follow guidance and documentation for safe battery cell testing and characterization.Support battery cell assembly from components, including cathode, anode, electrolyte, tabs, etc. to finished cellsEngage in continual maintenance and improvement of safety practices.

Location & Benefits
