Postdoctoral Research Associate – Organic electronics
The Nanoscience and Technology Division/Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) at Argonne National Laboratory has an available postdoctoral position for the development of organic neuromorphic devices . The position is funded for one year and renewable for two years (subject to performance evaluation).
We are seeking highly motivated and independent postdoctoral researchers to join our multidisciplinary research team to carry out the research on developing organic and polymer neuromorphic devices. Applicants with the background from a range of areas, including but not limited to neuromorphic devices, organic transistors, redox-active polymers, conjugated polymer synthesis and processing, device fabrication, circuit design are welcomed.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Candidate should have completed a doctorate level degree in material science, electrical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in the following areas is highly desired:
Background in polymer electronic materials and devices. Experience with organic device fabrication/engineering, including but not limited to transistors, sensors, memristors, sensors. Experience in neuromorphic device and machine learning methods and applications (health, edge, sensing) is desired but not required. Interest in neuroscience and brain-inspired algorithms Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong skills in collaboration and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
